Warning letter in lieu of Warning conference with no recall inspection . This recommendation is based on several factors: Though this licensee violations warrant more severe adverse action, this licensee has no traces associated with his firearms business and has a small sales volume (redacted guns acquired/disposed of during this inspection period). Additionally, the business has only been in operation for slightly less than a year and has not had a previous compliance inspection.
Concur with IOI redacted recommendation of WL in leiu of a WC . AE Armory Inc has applied for a Type 07 license and during the application inspection a compliance inspection was conducted of the Type 01 currently held by AE Armory Inc. This was the company's first compliance inspection and is a low volume dealer with limited sales (7 firearms in the last year) and had no firearms in inventory at the time of the inspection. Though a WC could be recommended due to the fact the license did not record the ID of the purchaser redacted ATF F 4473 it is recommended that a Warning Letter be issued in lieu of a Warning Conference for this licensee. Should also be noted that the company is aware that once the Type 07 FFL is issued the Type 01 would no longer be necessary since all business activity can be conducted under the Type 07 but the company has elected to retain the Type 01 license at least until the time of renewal which will be in 2017. With DIO concurrence WL signed and mailed by A/S redacted on 8/12/15.
DIO Concurs with Warning Letter recommendation in lieu of Warning Conference. This FFL has been in operation for only one year, and this was the FFL's first compliance inspection. The FFL has been a very low volume dealer during the first year of peration..
