Conduct Firearms Disposition Emphasis Inspection. Refer to IOI Manual, Chapter C - Firearms Inspections and FY 16 Domain Assessment. Conduct 100% inventory and ATF Form 4473 review unless authorized in advanced by Area Supervisor and DIO .
A warning letter is recommended for the following reasons: (1)Licensee failed to file redacted ATF Forms 3310.4, Report of Multiple Sale or Other Disposition of Pistols and Revolvers during the period of inspection; and (2)Licensee was cited for the same violation during its 2011 compliance inspection and was issued a warning letter. Neither a warning conference nor a recall inspection is recommended because the previous inspection was more than five (5) years ago, and Licensee was only cited for one additional violation involving redacted forms out of 1,834 reviewed during the current inspection.
From February 14-24, 2017 Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) Industry Operations Investigator redacted conducted a compliance inspection on federal firearms licensee ( FFL ) AimHi, LLC. Licensee was cited for two (2) violations of the Gun Control Act , including not conducting multiple handgun sales in redacted instances. This is a repeat violation from previous inspection in 2011, for which the FFL was only cited in redacted instances. IOI recommends a warning letter, no recall inspection ; however, considering FFL did not improve on its sole violation from last inspection, it is recommended that a recall inspection be conducted. That said, a warning letter should be sufficient at this time as due to volume and lack of other major violations it appears FFL is attempting at compliance.
