Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) Industry Operations Investigators (Investigators) redacted conducted an unannounced onsite firearms compliance inspection of type 07, Manufacturer of Firearms, Federal Firearms Licensee Ann Arbor Arms LLC on January 30 and 31, 2017, and February 1, 2, 7, 8, and 17, 2017. A closing conference was held with the licensee on March 8, 2017. The inspection was conducted at the licensed business premises located at 45 Metty Drive, Ann Arbor, Michigan. Present during the inspection were owner and responsible person , William Michael Pinon, and Compliance Officer, Buddy Kincaid. The inspection was conducted to determine compliance with federal firearm laws and regulations. The inspection period ranged from June 1, 2015 to January 30, 2017. One violation was cited. One violation was cited. Two referrals were generated. A warning letter in lieu of a warning conference is recommended. The licensee utilizes a computerized record keeping system. No problems were found with the licensee’s inventory and minimal problems were found with the licensee's ATF F 4473s . Any problems found were corrected immediately.
