IO redacted conducted a compliance inspection covering the period of October 20, 2015 through October 21, 2016. No referrals were made as a result of the inspection. A report of violations was issued on November 2, 2016 detailing redacted acquisition entry errors consisting mostly of failure to log the receipt date of a single shipment redacted firearms, and redacted incorrectly logged license number. In addition redacted disposition entry errors consisting of an incorrectly logged license number and redacted disposition which was not logged. These A&D issues represent error rates of 17% and 11% respectively, however, due to the licensee's low volume unvarying nature of the violations the following recommendation is made: Issuance of a Warning letter only, no further action.
Concur with WL and no recall inspection . This was licensee's first inspection and is a low volume manufacturer. Violations disclosed were the result of failure to log in the acquisition date for redacted shipment of firearms resulting redacted instances. Due to the low volume nature of the business this resulted in a high error rate. Licensee has made corrections and future compliance is assured. Report forwarded to DIO for review 1/5/17. DIO Concurred. Amended ROV was issued 1/20/17 to correct an error in citation. Inspection resubmitted 2/1/17. WL sent 2/7/17.
DIO concurs with recommendation for Warning Letter. This is the FFL 's first inspection, and the company is a very low volume dealer which limits non-licensee dispositions exclusively to gun smith transactions.
