On September 23, 2016, Investigator redacted initiated an unannounced firearms compliance investigation at JB’s Sports & Pawn, which is situated at the above referenced location. As a result of the inspection one (1) violation was cited: 1. 27 CFR 124(c)(3)(i) Failure to record the issuing authority and type of identification, number on identification, and expiration date of identification redacted Form 4473 . See attached report for additional information.
WL , ROV and no recall inspection recommended. A full onsite Recall compliance inspection was initiated on 9/23/2016 and completed on 10/12/2016 in Bay Minette, AL. The inspection disclosed 1 violation: 27 CFR 478.124(c)(3) redacted failed to record ID information in Section B, line 20a. No missing firearms or forms were disclosed, and no referrals were created. (* FFL did report redacted firearm as missing from inventory during an internal audit within the 12 months prior to the inspection — redacted. No repeat violations were disclosed. A ROV was issued. A WL, with a copy of the ROV, was mailed to the licensee on 11/1/2016. Future compliance is expected. No further field action is required at this time.
