Field contact as a result of the reported theft made 01/27/17; licensee declined assistance to perform a full inventory. A ROV was issued for the licensee’s failure to report the theft to ATF within 48 hours of discovery. A Warning Letter was generated and sent to the licensee (via certified post w/ return receipt) on 03/20/17. Due to identified discrepancies within the licensee's recordkeeping, a Recall Inspection has been staged for compliance assessment and follow-up. No further field action required.
