The inspection disclosed a violation warranting a warning conference. Specifically, a violation of 27 CFR 478.126a for failing to report or correctly report multiple sales in redacted instances. This violation previously cited during 2015 inspection. However, given the licensee's volume of sales (approximately 2,432 Forms 4473 over a 15-month period) and overall improvement of this repeated violation instances of failure to report multiple sales identified during 2015 inspection which warranted a WC ), an alternate recommendation of a warning letter with no recall inspection , is recommended. In addition to the aforementioned violations, the licensee was cited for violations of 478.124(c)(1); 478.124(c)(3)(iv); and 478.124(c)(4).
During this inspection, four violations were cited. One of these violations warrant a recommendation of warning conference. The RP attributed the error to poor employee training to recognize multiple handgun transfers as well as the proper completion of the ATF Form 3310.4. The RP took full responsibility for the errors. All discovered unreported multiple handgun sales were properly reported to the NTC. Corrective Action was verified by the investigating IOI . The licensee did not have any missing firearms, no untimely acquisitions or dispositions, no transfers to prohibited persons or unresolved traces.
