Please conduct a full firearms recall inspection of this FFL . This is to include a full inventory of firearms and a full review of ATF Forms 4473 completed since the last inspection. This inspection may be initiated any time after 10/16/15.
This inspection disclosed that overall business at Maple City is down (from redacted dispositions in 2014 to redacted in 2015). While this inspection disclosed six (6) repeat violations from the 2014 inspection, the percentage of instances of each repeat violation were less than 1% with the exception of violations of 27 CFR 478.124(c)(4) which was 1.53% and 27 CFR 478.125(e) which was 3.21%. The only repeat violation placing Maple City back into a Warning Letter status is the violation of 27 CFR 478.125(e), and for Mr. Smith, President, believes that redacted will aide with recording accurate firearm information in the A&D record. All firearms were accounted for and all traces during the inspection period were successful. IOI redacted recommends a warning letter be issued with no recall .
Concur with warning letter and no recall . The number of instances in violations has largely decreased since previous inspections. The repeat 478.125(e) violation would warrant a warning conference however it is believed future compliance will be achieved. Licensee had redacted in the fall of 2015 and the large majority of A&D violations were attributed to poor eyesight. The 478.126a violation warrants a warning letter and all other violations warrant no further action. It is believed a second warning letter will suffice for compliance. Report forwarded to DIO for review 3/4/16. Letter mailed 3/22/16.
DIO Concurs with Warning Letter.
