RECALL COMPLIANCE INSPECTION. Refer to IOI Manual, Chapter C - Firearms Inspections and FY 16 Domain Assessment. Conduct 100% inventory and ATF Form 4473 review unless authorized in advanced by Area Supervisor and DIO . Complete a Full Inspection and focus on those areas where violations were previously found.
Inspection conducted 6/6/16. Inspection disclosed the following: redacted violations of 27 CFR 478.125(e) cited in redacted instances, twenty-six firearms on hand in physical inventory, thirty-one ATF Forms 4473 file/reviewed, and four NTN provided FBI NICS .
Agree with alternate recommendaiton of Warning Letter and no recall due to following: Licensee has significantly improved operations from previous inspection which resulted in a Warning Conference and Recall inspection. Previous inspection disclosed seven violations. This inspection disclosed one violation. Violation was for redacted instances in which FFL failed to accurately maintain A&D book. Licensee was able to determined redacted Licensee continues to search for other firearm and was advised to contact IOI redacted upon discovery. Throughout entire inspection, licensee was cooperative.
