ALTERNATE RECOMMENDATION . Recommend warning letter and no recall inspection in lieu of warning conference. Licensee was cited for three (3) violations of the Gun Control Act , including not entering timely dispositions timely or having erroneous open entries in 63.6% of all dispositions. However, licensee has had very minimal transfers in the past 12 months, and if compared to inventory the discrepancies only account for 1.6% of entire inventory. Further, redacted of these untimely dispositions or erroneous entries should have been caught by ATF personnel on previous inspections but were not. Due to the high inventory, minimal transfers and zero traces at licensee, it is recommended that no recall inspection be conducted as it would be lengthy operation for a licensee with minimal business
Agree with IOIs recommendation of alternate from Warning Conference to Warning Letter and no Recall based on following: Licensee was cited for three violations, including not entering timely dispositions timely or having erroneous open entries in 63.6% of all dispositions. However, licensee has had very minimal transfers in the past 12 months, and if compared to inventory the discrepancies only account for 1.6% of entire inventory. Due to high inventory, minimal transfers and zero traces at licensee, it is recommended that no recall inspection be conducted as it would be lengthy operation for a licensee with minimal business.
