conduct importer inspection in conjunction with Numrich/Auto Ordnance mandatory 5 year Recall
Per the Federal Firearms Administrative Action Policy and Procedures ATF O 5370.1A a Warning Conference is recommended. However, due to the nature of the violations and the licensee’s compliance history a Warning Letter is recommended.
DIO concurs with WL & No Recall in lieu of WC Although WC would be warranted based on the high percentage of A&D errors, the primary error was the incorrect recording of the firearm type in the A&D. There are several considerations that mitigate the seriousness of this error. Accordingly, a WC is not necessary_WL will adequately address the matter going forward. Of note, this FFL improved significantly since the prior inspection which disclosed of missing firearms. There were no missing firearms from the current inspection
