Alternate from Warning Conference to Warning Letter and Recall inspection based on following: Failure to obtain complete or accurate information for any item(s) in Section A during ATF Form 4473 transactions. The licensee admitted to completing Section A redacted ATF Forms 4473 executed during the inspection period (with the exception of Box 16 Signature and 17 Date), and redacted of the 12 ATF Forms 4473 contained other errors (Box 17 blank on redacted forms and Box 11l blank on redacted forms). Licensee indicated the intention was to ensure legibility while ensuring the transferee actually read questions 11a-l. The licensee’s focus during ATF Form 4473 transactions was primarily contacting NICS to ensure transferee passed background check. Licensee was attempting to be more stringent and violation was not willful . Licensee was also very cooperative.
