CONDUCT A SOUTHWEST BORDER FIREARMS DISPOSITION EMPHASIS INSPECTION. ENSURE THE LICENSEE MEETS LOCAL ZONING AND ATF REGULATIONS.
The investigator recommends a warning letter because of the missing firearm and a recall inspection to ascertain if Mr. Dozier will go forward and surrender P W’s license. Please correct FLS to reflect that Mr. Dozier’s title is president/managing member.
Licensee had a total of 163 firearms in inventory. The investigator discovered redacted discrepancy where the licensee failed to record the disposition of a firearm. In the last 12 months, the licensee had acquired redacted firearms and disposed of redacted firearm, which was the aforementioned firearm. Because the licensee had only redacted firearm transferred for the review period, and no disposition was recorded, it made the percentage more than 10%. The investigator is recommending an alternative recommendation of Warning Letter and recall inspection . The Acting Area Supervisor concurs with recommendation.
