SWB - MFG/IMP PROGRAM. Conduct a full SWB DE compliance inspection in accordance with current FY 10 Operating Plan. 12 months records review of ATF Forms 4473 and 100% inventory reconciliation is required. Ensure all license specific required documentation is completed and up to date.
This is the licensee's first compliance inspection since obtaining their FFL . Errors cited were as a result of the licensee misunderstanding their requirement to list firearms manufactured seperately in their A&D record rather than as a range of firearms produced. The licensee was educated on the regulation and all errors were corrected prior to the completion of the compliance inspection. No additional errors were identified. The licensee was found to be in compliance with all other Federal Firearms Regulations.
I concur with the Area Supervisor’s alternate recommendation of Warning Letter and no recall inspection .
