Conduct Firearms Disposition Emphasis Inspection. Refer to IOI Manual, Chapter C - Firearms Inspections and FY 16 Domain Assessment. Conduct 100% inventory and ATF Form 4473 review unless authorized in advanced by Area Supervisor and DIO .
This is an alternate recommendation as a result of licensee’s failure to file multiple sales reports when legally required in redacted instances. The licensee’s overall error rate is low, and the errors were not intentional. Licensee acknowledged significance of violation(s) and was very cooperative during inspection.
Agree with IOIs alternate recommendation from Warning Conference to Warning Letter and No Recall based on following: Licensee's overall business is very good. Failure to file redacted multiple sale forms constitutes a Warning Conference. However, licensee did file redacted forms correctly and these omissions were a result of oversight. Licensee acknowledged significance of violation(s) and was very cooperative during inspection. No willfulness was disclosed.
