Violation no. 2 reflects the failure to record the required NICS information in items 21a, 21b, and 21c on the ATF F 4473 for redacted However, NICS was contacted for this transaction as demonstrated by the yellow "sticky" containing the redacted three of the Form but the information was not recorded by the transferor in 21a, 21b., or 21c. A WL is recommended as an alternative to a WC due to the fact NICS was contacted and a NICS transaction number was provided with a "Proceed" response. redacted through NCIC on August 10, 2016 resulting in no prohibitive information being found.
